The Light's Home Training Team

James Noriega, Executive Director. James is the founder of The Light’s Home and the author of Word and Power Counseling.  He has been a Biblical Counseling Pastor for seven years.  He has served at Mars Hill Church and Doxa Church in Seattle, WA.  Previously, James was a case manager and counselor at an in-patient recovery center in Seattle for four years.  James has over 10 years of experience in counseling in the deepest, darkest forms of addiction and sin, including drugs and alcohol, porn, domestic violence, clinical depression, bipolar disease, schizophrenia, and spiritual warfare.  James pioneered gospel-based, mixed-issue recovery groups at Mars Hill Church, which were the prototypes for what later became Redemption Groups.  James takes a cross-centered approach towards heart transformation by looking at the God issues rather than the sin issues that are imbedded in the soul. As a result, a new life is revealed in the believer, just like what is spelled out in Romans 8.

Craig Hall, Director of Operations, serves as senior operational director for The Light’s Home.
